Delete Your MyMealStream Account

MyMealStream is developed by NamedToaster Studios LLC. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete inside the app (fastest)

1. Open MyMealStream on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down to the Account section.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm when prompted. Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app (uninstalled, lost phone, or can't sign in), email us at support@mymealstream.com with the subject line "Account deletion request". Include the email address you used to sign in. We will delete your account within 30 days of receiving your request.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are removed from our servers immediately:

• Your name and email address (provided when you signed in with Apple or Google)
• The link between your account and your Apple ID or Google account
• Your device identifier and session tokens
• Any cached subscription status stored on our servers

What Is Not Deleted

• On-device data (meal logs, recipes, meal plans, food preferences) — this data lives on your phone, not our servers. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
• Anonymous analytics events — we use PostHog to capture anonymous product-usage events (e.g., "a user tapped Import Recipe"). These events contain no name, email, or account identifier and cannot be linked back to you after your account is deleted. They are retained per PostHog's standard retention policy.
• Subscription records — if you purchased a MyMealStream subscription, the transaction record is held by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), not by us. Contact Apple or Google directly if you need those records removed.
